Our children are defensive and argumentative when they feel they're in the wrong. Why? Because often, being wrong is not acceptable at home. Is your word pure gold?
Or do you feel it's bouncing off them?
Is your influence beginning to fade as they get older?

I'll also share how some common parent-responses can switch them off and even unsettle them.
Do people tell you it's normal for parents to get ignored?
It doesn't have to be!
